Please note, We promote GimmeAnswers.org in a variety of ways, mainly through search engines (SEM), and we also outsource some of the marketing budget to a third party. This issue is outside of our control.

We do not engage in ANY use of adware, spyware, redirect or other invasive techniques. These issues are detrimental to our reputation as a publisher and we do not want to be associated with it.

In the case that you have willingly/unwillingly installed a software that is redirecting your web requests: We understand your frustration, and have no affiliation with the source of the software, they choose to send their traffic to a variety of sources of which we are just one of them. However, we are actively trying to identify the source.

If you feel you have been receiving unwanted advertising through a distribution partner, if possible, please send us the the following information:

-Your IP address (http://www.whatismyip.com/).
-The full URL string with abcjmp.com ie: http://www.abcjmp.com/search/?affiliate=index0001&Terms=shoes&x=0&y=0, screenshots.
-Any other details you can share about your experience.

Please let us know if any particular program works so that we may share it with other users. Below are instructions on how to remove the files/text/extensions entries that are causing redirects:

- Step 1: Download this file ---> http://jpshortstuff.247fixes.com/GooredFix.exe
- Step 2: Close Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, or whatever browser you are using
- Step 3: Run the file you downloaded in Step 1 "GooredFix.exe" and click Yes** (If this does not work take note that you must be an administrator on your computer to run this file, Please contact your system administrator if you do not have administrative privileges)
- Step 4: Wait for it to finish and a text file will appear detailing what GooredFix.exe has fixed/removed
- Step 5: Close the text file and start browsing the web with no redirects

NOTE: These redirects cannot be detected/removed by any major malware/spyware/anti-virus detection software including: Malwarebyes, AVG, Norton, Spy-bot, Avira, McAfee, etc.

** The location of the file in Step 3 may vary depending on what version of windows you are running, what the default setting location your browser uses, or you may specified a location for the file to be saved.
